MY STORY
A path made of real images and emotions
My name is Dídac. I don't remember exactly when I first held a camera, but it was certainly at a very young age, thanks to my father's passion. I've always been surrounded by that atmosphere and all the moments captured, which, as time goes by, I can only be grateful for, as they have become the best memories I could ever have.
When it came time to choose what I would study at 18, I only had one thing clear: I wanted to learn how to take photographs. As the years passed, I decided it was time to take the plunge and live alongside what I truly loved: photography and film. I found a way to create small pieces that fulfilled me, and little by little, I immersed myself in this fascinating world of videography, a space where I could tell stories from the heart.
I've always had a very clear premise: to contemplate and try to capture reality in each of the works I've done. I seek out emotion, smiles, tears, love, everything that makes us human and nature—in short, reality. I feel very comfortable letting things emerge; I thrive on capturing moments that I know will become memories over the years.
Now, after 10 years as part of López de Rojas with Rodrigo and having managed to create many works together that I am very proud of, and having won several international awards, the time has come to fly solo.
I'm beginning a new stage with many challenges. I'm opening up new paths where I'm sure I'll continue to pour all my passion into it and continue to contemplate. When I create, I feel like I'm doing it from the heart, and that makes me feel alive.
